We understand that purchasing a commercial truck from out of state can be challenging, but we’re here to help you buy with confidence and ease. Here’s how!

Inspections, Repairs, Service, and Detail:

• DTI Trucks inspects every commercial truck we offer for sale. This inspection is crucial for identifying any safety or mechanical issues that need to be addressed before the truck is placed into service. A Federal DOT certification is performed by DTI and is valid for one year.
• Repairs are performed only after we thoroughly inspect each truck. From small items like marker lights and batteries to air brakes and heavy line work, DTI can handle it all. With three facilities staffed by certified technicians and equipped with the proper tools, we ensure that every truck and piece of equipment we sell has been taken care of.
• We don’t stop there! After purchasing a commercial truck, the last thing you want is to take it to another shop for service. At DTI, we change the oil in every truck and our technicians make recommendations for preventive maintenance during our inspection process. If any items are overdue, we either change or replace them. Our goal is to ensure your truck is job-site ready!
• Detail & Reconditioning. A clean truck reflects professionalism and enhances your business’s reputation. At DTI Trucks, we deep clean and detail each truck inside and out, ensuring that your newly purchased truck looks as good as it operates.

• While you may not be face-to-face with a salesperson on one of our lots, you can still enjoy an immersive truck purchasing experience. We’re here to provide you with plenty of detailed photos and customized videos that showcase all the features and benefits, helping you confidently choose the right truck. If you have a smartphone that supports video chat, we can do a real-time walkthrough. We’d love to show you what you’re buying.

• DTI Trucks has an in-house transportation division that manages the transport of all our trucks and equipment. Since many of our trucks are sold out of state, we can arrange shipping for your newly purchased truck or equipment anywhere in the lower 48 states.

Documentation and Titling:

• Proper documentation is essential for a successful out-of-state truck purchase. DTI Trucks will send you all the necessary paperwork for you to take possession of the truck and will send a properly assigned title to you or your lender after the sale.  Additionally, DTI Trucks includes a 60-day permit with every sold vehicle, allowing you to transport and operate your truck until it's time to register.

Payment and Finance:

• DTI accepts wire transfers, ACH payments, business checks, and cashier’s checks as forms of payment. We also have an in-house finance department that can arrange financing on your behalf. Since commercial truck lending differs from automotive lending, we’ve partnered with lenders who understand the unique needs of your business. Our credit application is available online and is easy to complete.

Insurance:

• Insurance is mandatory before taking delivery of your truck. You will need to provide DTI Trucks with a VIN # specific insurance card.

• Q: CAN I ADD A WARRANTY TO MY COMMERCIAL TRUCK?

A: Yes, we offer a wide selection of late-model trucks with remaining factory warranties, but for trucks with no factory warranty remaining, we provide after-market warranties tailored to the needs of commercial truck owners. Coverage options range from 90 days to 4 years, on trucks 15 model years and newer, for trucks Class 2 to Class 8.
 

• Q: IF I FLY INTO DENVER, CAN DTI PICK ME UP AT THE AIRPORT?

A: Absolutely! DTI has clean company trucks and drivers ready to pick you up and bring you to our dealerships. If you arrive after business hours, we can arrange to pick you up at your hotel when you're ready.
